The Story of a Lifetime!

Wait a Minute! I see who it is! That figure is... is Beary Bear and his Super Squadron
*We interrupt this broadcast for a special bulletin*

It seems like resident Joshua has been tagged by his mother, Sharon Henry of Mana Moon Studios (visit blog for more information). In this exclusive report, we'll hear his innermost secrets! We're going to the press conference right now.

"While it pains me to give away these secrets, I have been tagged and it's the honorable thing to do. And so, here are my secrets:

1. First and foremost, I drool while I sleep. You wouldn't believe the pools of spit that I can leave on my pillow!

2. I won the Presidential Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence when I was in 5th grade! It had a letter "from" the President saying that I was given the award for extraordinary achievement! I'm still so happy when I think of that day.

3. I've moved a WHOLE bunch of times. I'm in 8th grade and I've lived in 7 places and 3 states!

4. I've been to Disney World and Universal Theme Park more times than I can count. My Dad loves going there and it's convenient because my grandpar
ents live there, too.

5. I had a cat who died. The story is: we lived around a bunch of farms, and one time we decided to visit one. Well, we saw some kittens being neglected, so we adopted them. That's how we got Inky, QT, and Teeters. All the kitties were precious, but I took a loving to the one that I named, Inky, who was named that because it looked like he had ink splattered all over him. No matter how many cats we got (5 in all), I always loved Inky the most. When Inky grew up, he became aggressive to the other cats, so we gave him to my Dad. Every time I visited my Dad, I could see my favorite little kitty in the world. Until, one day, Inky was outside on a leash (he was being bad). Well, Inky tried to climb up a tree, but when he jumped down... the leash got caught on a branch and he hung himself. But no matter what happens, I'll always miss Inky the most. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Inky, the greatest kitty the world has ever seen!"

This reporter has never felt so sad! *sniffle* That boy will never see his favorite cat in the world ever again! It's so saaaad! Waaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!

Oh my little man you have been through far too much for your young age. As your Mom, I'd love nothing more than stability in your life. At least the accomplishments and losses have made you into the wonderful person you are and the man you will be one day. I know Inky will live in our hearts forever.

beep beep beep... beep beep beep... We interupt this blog post for another comment ;)

Josh oh Josh. I feel your pain of the loss of your cat and moving more times than you care to count. I know it's all a bit too much to understand now, but one day soon you'll look back on all the events in you life, good & bad, and think "wow, I wouldn't be who I am today without those moments." It's how you handle them that forms you.

Hey! Congrats on the award - outstanding! I haven't been to Disney World, but I have been to Disney Land LOTS of times - my favorite place!! Oh and Mark drools too, but don't tell him I told you ;)

(p.s. you are VERY welcome!)

Wow Josh! Excellent posting my small friend! :O)

And I'm actually a bit jealous of how many times you've been to Disney. I went once when I was very young (still in a stroller) and then once a few years ago - that was a blast!

I'm sorry to hear about Inky. Its a sad story but I'm glad he's still close to your heart.

Great post Josh!! You did great! :o)

*Now back to our regularly scheduled program*

Thanks Everyone! You're all too kind. I think I'm going to cry! *sniffle* But you know, I haven't been to Disney World in a while. I usually just go to Universal and then to Disney Quest, a giant building filled with Disney-themed video games!

Note: If you highlight part of the post (the most suspenseful), you'll find a super secret easter-egg. It'll give a BIG part of the story. Tell me if you find it!

Did I see an Easter egg..... Great post bud. Everything happens for a reason, and we don't always know why. But I am forever grateful that your life and my life brought us together.

Hey Little Man...what an awesome post!

I know your pain all too well. I lost my Rhodesian Ridgeback on June 25th of this year....she, too, died on a leash. There is not a day that goes by that I do not think of my wondeful Nevada and the joy she poured into our hearts. You have a beautiful soul, Josh....don't ever give it up ;-)

Oh Josh, I'm sorry about poor Inky! It's always hard when things like that happen and you never forget.

We've never been to Disney Land. There's one in Paris but apparently the French don't quite 'get it'. It should have been built here!!

Congratulations on your award too! Wow, what an achievement!!

Hey, and there's nothing wrong with dribbling whilst your asleep. At least you don't do it whilst your awake!!
