It's Here!

Weeeeeell, I got a mysterious package a couple of days ago. I had no idea who sent it or why. But to my surprise... Rocki sent me a care package! I cut away at the box to fiiiiind... a box for a ceiling lamp! My mom said that Rocki told her she was sending something, but it wasn't a lamp. Ooooooohh, I really wanted a lamp! So, I cut at this box too, and I saw all of this!
In case you can't see everything, I got: A Halloween PEZ (candy dispenser), tons of postcards, an Arizona cap, a pet rock (named Debi!), and a deck of Arizona playing cards. That was a mouthful! But anyway, thanks to Rocki for sending me all of that! Oh, and Debi says Hi!

In this return post, I'd like to celebrate something. Birthdays! My friend Laura had a birthday yesterday! (the 25th) So... everybody join in: ♫Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to Lauraaaaaa! Happy Birthday to Yoooooouuu! HOORAY!!!♫ And there was birthday a while back, Catherine's! I know it might have been on the 14th, buuuut... it's not too late in my book! After all, it's the thought that counts! And then there was ANOTHER Birthday! However, no one remembered! I'm not saying who, but I eeeeeerr... he was very disappointed that no one remembered! After all, he was born a month earlier than he was supposed to and his birthday was SUPPOSED to be on the 25th of October! Still don't know who, well here's a hint: he writes a blog, his mom makes jewelery, he goes to online school. If you still don't know, It's Me! And to make it worse... NO ONE EVER MADE ME A CAKE!! YES... THAT IS AN APPLE WITH A CANDLE IT!!! WAAAAAAHH!!! *sniffle*

The Story of a Lifetime!

Wait a Minute! I see who it is! That figure is... is Beary Bear and his Super Squadron
*We interrupt this broadcast for a special bulletin*

It seems like resident Joshua has been tagged by his mother, Sharon Henry of Mana Moon Studios (visit blog for more information). In this exclusive report, we'll hear his innermost secrets! We're going to the press conference right now.

"While it pains me to give away these secrets, I have been tagged and it's the honorable thing to do. And so, here are my secrets:

1. First and foremost, I drool while I sleep. You wouldn't believe the pools of spit that I can leave on my pillow!

2. I won the Presidential Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence when I was in 5th grade! It had a letter "from" the President saying that I was given the award for extraordinary achievement! I'm still so happy when I think of that day.

3. I've moved a WHOLE bunch of times. I'm in 8th grade and I've lived in 7 places and 3 states!

4. I've been to Disney World and Universal Theme Park more times than I can count. My Dad loves going there and it's convenient because my grandpar
ents live there, too.

5. I had a cat who died. The story is: we lived around a bunch of farms, and one time we decided to visit one. Well, we saw some kittens being neglected, so we adopted them. That's how we got Inky, QT, and Teeters. All the kitties were precious, but I took a loving to the one that I named, Inky, who was named that because it looked like he had ink splattered all over him. No matter how many cats we got (5 in all), I always loved Inky the most. When Inky grew up, he became aggressive to the other cats, so we gave him to my Dad. Every time I visited my Dad, I could see my favorite little kitty in the world. Until, one day, Inky was outside on a leash (he was being bad). Well, Inky tried to climb up a tree, but when he jumped down... the leash got caught on a branch and he hung himself. But no matter what happens, I'll always miss Inky the most. I'll always have a special place in my heart for Inky, the greatest kitty the world has ever seen!"

This reporter has never felt so sad! *sniffle* That boy will never see his favorite cat in the world ever again! It's so saaaad! Waaaaaaaaaaaaahhh!!!

Defending Your Rights! Part 3 #2

Sshhhhhhhh... Wha Sssshhhhh... Signal... Sshhhhh... Wait, we're back on?! Okay, okay! If you saw my last broadcast you know that the strikers have just formed some kind of wild striker army! But a lot has happened while we were off the air. They seem to have divided into smaller angry mobs! Each mob is attacking a part of Housetropilis! We have to get closer!

Oh No! This mob, led by Godzilla, is ripping up Roomville! They're tearing apart an armored tank like it's tin foil! The horror of it all! Why... WHY!!!

Aaaahh! This mob is trashing Toilet Town! Those horrible toys, they're destroying all the care products. How will the women live without the vanity products! (Hey, that's my toothbrush!)

I never thought the little guys could become so violent! They're knocking down all the mini books! And wait a second, is that evil toy pushing of the poor little blue guy off the shelf?! How heartless can you get!

Gasp! I never new Mr. Ghosty was so mean! I can't believe he's leading the mob that's destroying Living-room County! As I say, you don't know someone until they have the chance to join an angry mob!

Oh My Gosh! It's... it's too horrible to watch! This picture is not for the faint of hearted.
I can't look anymore! Aaaaaaaahh! The
horror... THE HORROR!!!

Is their anyone here who can save us from this horrifying
mayhem! Wait a minute, what's that in the distance. I can't make it out, but...

To Be Continued!!!

Defending Your Rights! Part 3

Extra! Extra!

Read All About It

On this issue of Scribbles of an Ancient Soul: The PJ's strike is in it's final moments, and the stuffed animals are going wild. How this dramatic story will end?! The only way to answer that is to go to our reporter on the streets.

Mr. Skeleton has been striking today! But nowadays he goes by the name, Mr. Ghosty. It seems like he's so hungry, he's past dead, he's dead dead! This is an example of what happens when it's too late to save a toy. He's past the point of no return! Sad, isn't it?

As you can see, food is getting so scarce that people are resorting to extreme methods. This poor striker is being eaten alive by the... PEZ cow! Let me get this straight, a PEZ cow is eating some kind of animal with a bud and leaves fused to his back. It's okay, this reporter is confused too!

Eyewitnesses have reported that this komodo dragon is on strike for dental reasons. He has no dentist, no toothpaste, and no teeth since the Dragons for Dentistry amendment was taken from the Constitution in 1992. This act was a hard blow to all reptiles out there. Sorry about the poor photo, we're having minor technical difficulties.

This picture brings one word to this reporter's head, Justice! If you read yesterday's issue, then you know exactly what I mean! This penguin was seen yesterday, viciously eating shark bodies. This reporter has heard that it is more gentle nowaday... This Just In! A mob has appeared outside! We're going to our reporter at the scene!

This angry mob is... is horrifying to see! This reporter has never seen so much destruction! It's absolutely Shhhh... What's going Shhh... on Shhhhhh... My Go... Shhhhh... Aaaaaa Shhhh... aaaah Ssshhhhhhhhhh!

Sorry, We're Experiencing Technical Difficulties!

Defending Your Rights! Part 2

It seems like my striking has inspired my stuffed animals to start protesting. I'm putting an entire strike force together! Everyone one of them is standing up and backing the cause! Even Godzilla is backing me up. But the right to stay in PJ's isn't the only thing they're protesting about.

First of all, you have to know that they live in a big dump. The house is miserable, disgusting, and an absolute pigsty. This place doesn't have electricity, water, heating or even indoor-plumbing! It's... it's... uuuhh I think you get the point now.

Next is Mr. Skeleton. He's on strike because he hasn't eaten in years. Mr. Skeleton so hungry that he's past skin and bones, he's just bones! Please support our cause, help Mr. Skeleton get something to eat.

This little pink bunny (or whatever it is) is on strike because the entire balance of nature is off in their dump of a house. Food is eating the people! That vicious marshmallow Peeps is dining on the flesh of the helpless bunny! Before you know it the prey will be eating the predators!

Oh come on! Did I call it or what?! Wow, that is one vicious looking penguin. Look at those beady little eyes, and that bloodthirsty beak! The hunter has truly become the hunted. It just goes to show you that you can never trust a penguin. Heed my warning or you'll end up like this poor, helpless shark.

Who else will start striking? Will I get the right to stay in PJ's? Will the protesters meet a grizzly end?! (or not) All these question and more will be answered in the mind boggling conclusion of Defending Your Rights!

Defending Your Rights! Part 1

It's what everyone has been waiting for... the return of my blog! *cheering fans* Thank You, Thank You! And I'm going to come back with a special three-part post: Defending Your Rights! And to make it even more special, it corresponds with the latest Mana Moon blog. So don't forget to visit the Mana Moon Studios Blog
before reading my post. And so, after watching "Newsies", it made me feel like protesting. What, you ask, am I protesting about. Well, when D came home for lunch at noon, I was still in PJ's. Embarrassed, I began to go upstairs. But then, D jokingly said, "Dressed?! Why get dressed?" I responded with, "Okay, I guess I won't get dressed today!" My Mom then said, "No, only parents don't have to get dressed". I couldn't take their remarks anymore, so I went on strike! The rights of the minor will be persecuted no more! *applause* As you can see, I lost the battle of my dressing rights, but the war is far from over. Next time on Scribbles of an Ancient Soul: the stuffed animals revolt and have a strike of their own. It'll be comedic, fun-filled, and the ride of a life-time! So don't miss the action packed second part of Defending Your Rights! *Bum, Bum, Buuuumm!*

A Change of Plans

Hello Scribbles viewers! I heard that some people missed me, so I'm back and ready for some more blogging! Before reading the following post, you should know that I, unlike most kids, am cyberschooled. This simply means that I do homeschooling online. Sure I don't have a social life besides Blogspot, but it's better than the other choice. You see, I'm cyberschooled because the school where I live is absolutely horrible. Its test scores are so low that it seems as if they're teaching mice!

So anyway, the school I've been going to, Agora, seems to have been a good choice; that is, until this year. At the beginning of this school year, I had some trouble with Agora. It all started the second day of school. They hadn't taken into consideration how many students were joining this year, so the school's website, where I do all my schoolwork, CRASHED! It's as if I went to school, and the doors were locked. Talk about a bad start! It was a little frustrating, but I tried to not let it bother me too much. My mom had others plans, though.

She wasn't going to let this one go by. She decided that we should look at other schools. We set up an appointment with the first school she came across. This school seemed very promising. When we met with the adviser, she was very nice and convinced us even more that this school was excellent. While we waited for the school to tell us if we made the cut, Agora was getting more and more unappealing.

First of all, a test they wanted me to take online called the Scranton was having major problems. Every time I got past the fourth question, it would freeze up and say that there's an error. Then, someone from the school sent me an email welcoming me to my first year of Agora, but this was my third! The school was getting more frustrating ever day! And then, guess who calls, but the new school!

We all breathed a sigh of relief and a cry of joy because they said that I would be starting school in a few weeks. And so, I stopped school yesterday and now I'm on a mini vacation for a week. How great is that! It seems like everything works out in the end. That is until this school goes horribly wrong too. Hahahahahaha! (I really hope not!)

Note: I will not be responding to any comments or emails until the night of Tuesday the 14th. That doesn't mean you shouldn't leave anything!

Edgar Allen Poetry

Everyone knows Edgar Allen Poe. After all, he made "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Mask of the Red Death", and my personal (and most other peoples') favorite: "The Raven". It's not surprising that a poetic one like me (not to toot my own horn) would like him so much. But more to the point, I was working on a sad memoir (about my moving) when I thought I'd try to be a little poetic. I Began to like what I saw and decided to make it into a full-fledged poem. My sad and gloomy poem really reminded me of him, so I call it my ode to Poe. Hope you enjoy!

Twilight Town

The sun never rose and the moon never set

Life was nothing more than a despicable wretch

The trees never budded and nothing was grown,

For ash covered soil had made it a dead, dark brown

And everyone starved in Twilight Town

The moon never glowed and the sun never shone

The wind always made one big, eerie groan

No one ever shouted and there was always a frown

On everyone’s face in Twilight Town

The moon never went down and the sun can’t gleam

All is a nightmare, never a dream

A ray of hope can never be seen

The world has been deemed dreary and mean

The groans and the sadness couldn’t be drown

And the souls were never lifted in Twilight Town

Tag, You're It!

It's happened. I've been... TAGGED!!! *bum bum buuumm* My new "blog buddy" Rocki tagged me. As tagging goes, I have to share six secrets about myself. This should be fun (yeah right!)

1. I still sleep with stuffed animals, lots of stuffed animals. About 10-12 at a time! I admit that it's a little childish, but I can't sleep without my Beary-Bear. Please tell me I didn't just say Beary-Bear! (It's okay Beary-Bear I'll protect you!)

2. I don't like pie! Okay, so maybe it's not major, but come on... who doesn't like pie! I must be un-American or something.

3. I used to play the violin, but I stopped because it was too hard. But really don't blame me. It was that darn (clean version) violin! Every time I made the slightest wrong movement it made the most horrible, screechy sound on Earth! It haunts me I tell you, it haunts me!

4. I had a "Japanese Fighting Fish" named Samurai. Unfortunately while I was away, he died! To make it worse, when I came back I didn't even notice he was gone! And my Mom didn't even tell he was dead! Of course I don't blame her because I didn't notice him enough and I should've paid more attention to him.

5. The story of us coming to Lewistown is a sad one (for me!) Before we lived in Lewistown, we were in Orwigsburg. We had been living there for 3 years, longer than I've ever lived anywhere else before (besides New York). It was the best time in my life! I had like a dozen friends! Well, to try to make a long story short (read at two times speed) we had to move, and we had already been looking at the Lewistown real estate. I was extremely sad and filled with anguish. I've never really been able to get over it. THE END! *out of breath*

6. Last secret (finally!) Well, I'd like to finish with the biggest one of all. My mom and dad are divorced. I'll try not to go into details, but... they really didn't get along so they decided to get a divorce. Now I live at my Mom's and visit my Dad (who got married again, too). I know that they're happier that way but I'll always feel like something is missing. I'll never have that completely structured family feeling. It just isn't the same as a regular family.

Well, now it's time to announce my "tagees".

1. Edd (you better tell him Catherine)

2. Sakura

3. God (who else can I tag!)

4. And finally: Way-Way (you can't protect him any longer Rocki!)

A Very "Blocky" Beginning Part 2

It's what everybody's been waiting for: Part 2! If you read my first blog you know that I started off with "Have you ever had one of those days?" Well, now here's my second blog.

Have you ever had one of those weeks where you just keep on doing the same routine day after day? You practically feel like a robot! That's been happening to me for the past month (and at times year) of my life! It's so horrible doing the same thing day after day after day after... *beep boop bop*

Have you ever had one of those days where you feel like everyone around is a vicious cold-blooded predator?! And you're completely helpless to stop them from chewing you up and spitting you out! Okay so maybe I exaggerated a little, but at least you get the point. I just hope the kitty's okay. (That darn T-Rex keeps on showing up!)

And to finish it all up, have you ever had one of those days where you feel like your knight in shining armor isn't all he's cracked up to be. I'm sure most women are going to be shaking there heads while they're reading this.

I hope you liked my first blog and there's many more where that came from. So tune in a few times every week for... Scribbles of an Ancient Soul! Brought to you by: the Mana Moon blog (manamoon-studios.blogspot) and D's blog (phoenixcommentaries.blogspot).

A Very "Blocky" Beginning Part 1

To start my first blog I'd like to talk about the age old phrase of "have you ever had one of those days", in LEGO version! *clears throat* Have you ever had one of those days where you feel like the weight of the world is pushing down on you, like you're being stomped down into the ground? This LEGO figure sure is! Poor little guy!

Have you ever had one of those days where your boss is just ripping you to shreds? No matter how hard you try, you just can't seem to get away from him? I don't know what's going on in this picture, but it sure is a good metaphor.

Have you ever had one of those days where you feel like your surrounded by complete idiots? Where you feel like you're so mad you could rip your hair off of your head! Yeah, I think that this guy maybe feeling that. Of course, that's just my thought
